Student Opportunities at the Paul W. Bryant Museum

Program Assistant

This position collaborates with Education Outreach Coordinator, UA Museum Staff and partners to further the mission of the Paul W. Bryant Museum. We offer hands-on experience developing educational programs, researching sports history, creating interpretive materials, and engaging visitors of all ages.

Internship Requirements: a background in education, sports or history: interest in museums, education, storytelling and/or community engagement. Strong written and communications skills. Experience with interpretive techniques and educational programs is preferred but not required.

Events Planning Assistant

Work with Bryant Museum's Education Outreach Coordinator to help with scheduling groups for private events at the Bryant Museum. Devise advertising campaign(s) to raise awareness of booking opportunities. Facilitate those events at the Museum. 

Internship Requirements: ability to work independently, good communication skills, planning and organization: the ability to plan and coordinate all aspects of an event, networking: the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, vendors, and partners.
